Student Health and Physical Education building

The Human performance laboratory is located in the Student Health and Physical Education (SHAPE) facility at JSC.  The Human Performance Laboratory is a "hands on" environment where students can learn about human physiology by directing and participating in laboratory projects.  The lab is also used for research and a project is currently underway investigation the relationships between lifetime physical activity, aging, and the development of muscle power.  The Human Performance Laboratory contains the most up to date equipment for assessing physical performance (see below).
